Last Saturday, Feb. 29 at the OHSAA D-II Sectional Meet at Steubenville HS, Coach Jon Hardman’s Tri-Valley wrestling team had a strong showing, advancing seven Scottie wrestlers to this weekend’s District Meet at Claymont High School, where the top four placers there will punch their ticket to the holy grail of high school wrestling – the State Meet.
“The Dawgs wrestled hard in a very tough Sectional at Steubenville,” said Scottie head coach Jon Hardman. “We’re currently putting in another week of hard work as we shoot for hoped for spots at the OHSAA State Wrestling Meet next weekend,” said Hardman. In addition to the seven TV grapplers who advanced, the Scotties are also sending two alternates to the District Meet as well.
Good Luck to the Scottie wrestlers who are shooting for the State Meet!
