Boys Varsity Football · Tri-Valley Football Players of the Week – Week 6: TV vs John Glenn

Tri-Valley head football coach Cam West and his staff picked the following Scottie team members pictured above as ‘Players of the Week’ for their performance in the Scottie’s 41-13 win vs Muskingum Valley League rival John Glenn last Friday night in Dresden at Jack Anderson Stadium.  Kneeling front row, left to right are: CJ Kinneer and Aidan Fritter.  Standing back row: (l-r) Isaiah Armstrong, Zach Baker, and Addison Davis .  Coach West offers the following about their performance:

Offensive POW- Aidan Fritter: Aidan has been a consistent leader on offense for us week in and week out. He is a very mature kid and one that I am proud to have leading our offense. His performance in week 6 was fantastic. Aidan tossed for over 220 yards and ran for almost 100 leading an offense that gained over 500 yards against a particularly good JG defense.

Defensive POW- Zack Baker: Zack is another senior who has been very consistent for us. Week 6 was his best game. He was physical in the run game and was a huge part of holding JG’s RB to 86 yards on the ground. Also, he was in the correct spot in the pass game making it difficult on JG’s QB.

Special Teams POW- CJ Kinneer: CJ was outstanding on our kickoff unit throughout the game. He made multiple tackles and was flying down the field each and every kickoff.

Scout Team POW- Addison Davis: Addison continues to impress the coaching staff with his toughness. He is only a freshman and never backs down from a challenge. He is always on every scout team and looking for ways to make the team better.

JV POW- Isaiah Armstrong: Isaiah made a huge statement in the JV game Saturday with his play on defense from his OLB position. He was playing fast and physical, reading his keys, and making plays all over the field.
