Girls Varsity Gymnastics · TVHS Gymnasts put wraps on another successful season; Lady Dawg senior Olivia Combs qualifies for State Meet on beam

by TVHS Gymnastics Coach Jen Martin

The Tri-Valley High School gymnastics team wrapped up their 2021 season recently, competing at the District Meet at Worthington Kilbourne High School.

The team ended the year with a season-high team score of 126.6 placing them 14th out of 24 teams at the Worthington District. Leading the way for the Scotties was TV senior Olivia Combs who qualified for her third state meet by placing 8th on beam. Olivia was also 11th in the All-Around competition.  The Lady Dawgs had a fantastic year that was full of growth and gaining competition experience.  We were very fortunate to have two seniors to captain and guide our team, Claire Martin and Olivia Combs (pictured below).  The competitive spirit and the competition experience both Olivia and Claire brought to the team will be missed next year.
